The new XOOM 2 tablets comes with Android 3.2 and dual-core 1.2 GHz processor
Motorola Mobility UK has launched two new of 3G and Wi-Fi enabled tablets, Motorola XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition in the UK expanding its portfolio of XOOM 2 family.
The new tablets run on Android 3.2, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor while the screeen offer sharper display featuring scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and a splashguard coating.
The new products also feature Motorola's MotoCast app that lets user stream favorite music, photos, videos and documents between the computer and tablet without any media tools, apps, or cords.
Motorola XOOM 2 comes with a 10.1-inch widescreen HD and is loaded with Business Ready features like Virtual Private Network (VPN) support and data encryption as well as a battery back up for more than 10 hours with video playback.
The new Media Edition features a 8.2-inch display, 178 degree viewing angle and delivers 20% improvement in graphics performance over the original Motorola XOOM.
It can be used as a universal remote control for home entertainment equipment with the personalised, custom remote control app pre-loaded on the tablet.
